Count-down & Kit-list

Countdown! We fly  to New York on the 12th July. Our bikes and kit will be boxed up and flown along with us. At JFK we load all our gear into a hire car, and drive 7 hours south (past Washington DC and Baltimore) -to Yorktown, Virginia.

After the planes & automobiles, we should sleep pretty well in our Yorktown Motel... We'll need to; the following day we will be reassembling our bikes, gearing up and hitting the road! We formally launch our journey with the ceremonial rear wheel-dip in the Atlantic: on Friday the 13th! I  am working on convincing myself; 'dates are arbitrary' -and hopefully those who fear otherwise will ensure less traffic on the road. Giddy-up!

  4. Hey guys,

Dave just told me about this adventure. Looks like you guys are in full swing.

After cycling over france I am already planning a next big one, and a world trip is looking rather cool to me!

I will look at this soon with a bit more attention. But great stuff.
